Projects

At the Dayton Regional STEM School (DRSS) we do something that is a lot different from other schools. It's called project based learning. This means that we don't get taught by a teacher and then take a test; we learn the content through a project instead. Learning this way really does prepare us for the future because in life, everything is not handed to you. When your learn through a project or process you have to work for the knowledge instead of having someone tell you about it. You also learn a lot of life lessons in projects that will help me in my future career. Even though project-based learning is challenging it pays off.
