National Honors Society is a merit and service-based extra-curricular. Last year, I was elacted NHS President. In this time I have had the opportunity to grow my leadership skills by heading multiple service projects such as seasonal trivia days and the Air Force cookie drive. NHS, a group of about 60 students, requires a great amount of collaboration and communication between officers and members to ensure clear understanding across the board. It also requires understanding and cooperation skills to include other's ideas and not just our own. I have enjoyed being a part oF such a great group of students the past couple of years in NHS.
