Collaboration is working together with a good attitude. It is staying on task even when you don't want to. This is an important quality to STEM because we need this collaborating skill in the real world when we get careers and have to work with others. If we don't know how to work with others, it makes almost everything you do in life difficult to accomplish. STEM wants to make sure that everyone excels at school and in the real world, later in life, and t his is one of the ways they prepare us for that. I became a lot better in Collaboration during the Storybook project. This project was a partnership that required lots of compromise. Compromise means that you won't always get your opinion or idea every time, instead each person gets a little of what they want. This is very important in the real world in real matters, you have to listen to everybody's ideas when you are a team. When I say team I mean united. Being united is the act of collaboration. It is to work together as one mind looking to reach the same goal.If you are united you are as one; you listen, act, and agree as one.
